Haus Stockhorst in Rhede

I ordered a sandwich with cheese and ham. Half a slice of rose bread with cheese came thinly sliced, half a slice of brown bread with ham and 2 half cocktail tomatoes. The other guests complained because my stomach growled so loudly 😭

A successful evening at Haus Stockhorst. We are a group of regulars who are always drawn to other restaurants. Haus Stockhorst was convincing in every way. Starting with the excellent service by the junior manager, with the small but fine selection of dishes prepared by her husband. The possibility of changing the dishes is simply excellent. We would love to come back.

Went today with the family for a small family party with 12 people there again lunch (pre-ordered menu). Everyone was excited again. Super food quality, the excellent flavored individual food, whether summer vegetables or salad plate, or the deep dark Jus the ox cheeks, whose taste you can not put into words. Simply delicious! Then the nice, attentive, unobtrusive service. Everything was great and always happy. Unfortunately, you can only give 5 stars here, otherwise we would give ten.

In the meantime we have eaten there several times and even celebrated New Year's Eve there. Always a pleasure. The staff is always very courteous and friendly. We like the location a lot, also a great choice for weddings or larger celebrations. Price / performance ratio is 100%. Beautifully rural location, so that you can take a little digestive walk after dinner! I can only recommend it, always happy to come back with the whole family or friends! The table is already reserved for our next visit;) Keep it up!
